Archaeology of the Future is a prospective work featuring a new method to design that give life to evanescent silver forms. A space inhabited by silent details. Merging past and future. This project is a breakthrough in the making of objects allowing for the first time ephemeral nature to be forever crystallized. A plant wraps around a container eroded by time. A shell fossilises around a metallic rod. Blossoms appear on the surface of highly precise silver casted shapes through technology and mastery craftsmanship, showing design’s ability to reenvision the world around us.
「Archeology of the Future」 は画期的なデザイン手法から生まれた。創造過程の中で形作られていったその方法は、職人の手になる熟練の技と最新のテクノロジーの融合であり、過去は未来を志向する。銀に、繊細で幻想的なフォルムを与え、生命を吹き込む。それは静かなディテールが息づく空間。儚い自然が結晶化され永遠のものとなる。植物は、時間によって浸食された容器を包み、貝殻は、小さな金属片の周りに化石化する。高精度に鋳造された銀のピースの表面に、小さな花の蕾が芽吹く。エスペルの作品は私たちを取り巻く世界を再認識させるという、「デザインの持つ力」を想起させてくれる。
